Most of my work carried out is the repair and restoration of clock movements. They can be completely rebuilt, and my services include re-bushing clock plates and spring barrels, pivot replacement and pivot polishing and wheel cutting, plus any other work which may be necessary such as making new parts or fitting new springs and clock lines.
Broken clock glass can also be replaced and I am also able to offer clock dial and restoration. Painted clock faces can be sympathetically restored and re-numbered. Brass faces can be carefully refurbished and re-silvered. Clock hands can also be carefully repaired or remade as original if need be.
In my restoration work, I endeavour to keep as close as possible to the original when repairing or making new parts. A wide range of original parts and movements are available to draw on and only the best quality materials are used.
For research purposes, an extensive library of books is available to refer to.
